NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN BY THE CITY OF MARIANNA PLANNING & ZONING BOARD OF ITS INTENT TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC MEETING TO REVIEW THE FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS AND OTHER BUSINESS:

NOTICE OF LAND USE CHANGE
The Marianna Planning and Zoning Board will conduct a public meeting on April 25, 2022 at 4:00 p.m., in the City Commission Chambers located at 2897 Jeerson Street, Marianna, Florida to consider the adoption of the following Ordinances: Ordinance 1128: An Ordinance Amending Ordinance 812, which adopted the City of Marianna Comprehensive Plan and Ordinance 1125, which amended the City of Marianna Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map to provide for the adoption of a certain Small-Scale Future Land Use Map Amendment (SSA 2022-02) to the City of Marianna Comprehensive Plan; providing for severability and for repealer; providing for an effective date. For the following described property: Trinity Baptist Church, LLC: The area of the parcel is approximately 29 acres in size, located on the east side of Old Greenwood Road (3364 Old Greenwood Road; Parcel ID #25-5N-0000-0040-0020). The Future Land Use designation will change from Jackson County Residential to City of Marianna Public Institutional. Ordinance 1130: An Ordinance Amending Ordinance 812, which adopted the City of Marianna Comprehensive Plan and Ordinance 1128, which amended the City of Marianna Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map to provide for the adoption of a certain Small-Scale Future Land Use Map Amendment (SSA 2022-03) to the City of Marianna Comprehensive Plan; providing for severability and for repealer; providing for an effective date. For the following described property: James Peters: The area of the parcel is approximately 0.2 acres in size, located on the east side of McPherson Street (2824 McPherson Street; Parcel ID # 04- 4N-10-0124-0000-0180). The proposed ordinance is for a Future Land Use change from Commercial to Residential. Interested parties are encouraged to attend the meeting. Copies of the request may be viewed in the City of Marianna Municipal Development Department located at 2895 Jefferson Street, Marianna, Florida during regular business hours or by calling (850) 482-2786.
